This workshop focuses on the construction of a traditional canvas haversack using a folded pattern design made from the full width of heavy canvas. Participants will learn a range of practical bag-making techniques including machine stitching, cutting, eyelet setting, machine cutting and fitting press stud fixings, while creating a functional bag featuring four internal pockets, two outer pockets, adjustable strap detailing and leather ring closures.
