About the event
This workshop introduces participants to the traditional techniques of leatherworking through the creation of a hand-stitched, moulded leather card wallet. Participants will learn how to cut, prepare and wet-form vegetable-tanned leather, mark and punch stitching holes, and hand stitch the finished piece using traditional saddle-stitch methods. The result is a compact, durable card wallet that showcases the character of the leather and the craftsmanship involved in its making.
